The Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili responded to the tightening of police regime in Kakheti region and stated that the word "raid" is targeted by opponents to create negative association with dark past, reports GHN.
"The word "raid" is planned to create negative association with dark past. I want to say that this is normal police control and preventive measures approved in Europe and policeman has full right to implement it. I want to thank the Ministry of Internal affairs and the Minister for successful implementation of these measures," stated Premier.
Garibashvili once again called on police to maximally tighten control.
