Atlas Georgia gave a presentation on a big project and the groundbreaking of five-star hotel took place in Batumi. The event was attended by Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Chairman of the Adjara Autonomous Republic Government. Participants in the burial of a symbolic capsule to mark the start of construction included Giorgi Kvirikashvili and Archil Khabadze, reports GHN based on the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development.
The new project will be implemented by Atlas Georgia at the area of 38 0002 km in Batumi. The project implies the construction of five-star hotel complex, casino, conference hall up to 1500 people and the trade centre.
"Avrasia Georgia" is a subsidiary company of "Avrasia Terminal İşletmeler" that was founded on December 18, 2010. The company has already invested 13 127 800 USD in N1 Gogoli Str., Batumi. The construction occupies 44,9292km including the car park in compliance with the modern standards, open markets and various commercial objects.
Giorgi Kvirikashvili congratulated the local government and the company management on the launching the new project and said that the conference room of this occupancy capacity is the first one in Georgia and the trade centers will be constructed were international brand will be represented.
"It is great that one more important project will be launched that will have a particular role in Adjara region in several directions: creating new jobs and new tourism products, operating modern services, development of the infrastructure of the city etc.
42 mln USD will be invested in Adjara by Atlas Georgia in Batumi that will be an opportunity for locals to increase their incomes, broaden their sphere of activities and have access to the modern services" - Giorgi Kvirikashvili said.
Galip Öztürk, Head of the company said that the particular amount of investments is directed to funding educational and social foundations. The company will continue its tradition and transfer 500 000 GEL to the Solidarity Fund created on the initiated of the Prime Minister of Georgia.
The construction of the new five-star hotel in which 42mln USD is invested, will be completed in February, 2019.
