The President of Georgia met the federal Minister of Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs Sebastian Kurz. The sides discussed the relations between two countries and talked about deepening of collaboration. They also talked about European perspective of Georgia. The President of Georgia thanked federal Minister of Foreign Affairs of Austria for the support of Georgia on the way of European integration. On the meeting was also marked importance of timely ratification of Association Agreement, reports GHN.
There were also discussed projects of regional collaboration and results achieved on NATO Wales Summit.
"I had very good meeting with the President. I am glad that have possibility to visit Georgia. This is my first visit in the rank of the Ministry of Euro integration and Foreign Relations of Austria and I hope that our meeting is good possibility for deepening collaboration between Georgia and Austria," stated Sebastian Kurz.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affair of Georgia Maia Panjikidze, the National Security Council secretary Irine Imarlishvili, advisor of the President in the direction of foreign relations Tengiz Fkhaladze and chief of administration of the President Davit Pataraia.
