On the 10th of September 2014, the Georgian First Deputy Foreign Minister, Mr David Zalkaliani met the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Georgia, Mr Zeki Levent Gümrükçü, reports GHN based on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The two focused on issues of bilateral co-operation and discussed current situation in Georgia's occupied regions. The Turkish Ambassador reaffirmed his Government's firm support for Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Mr Zalkaliani focused on the results of the NATO Summit held on September 4-5 and underlined their significance in the process of enhancing co-operation with NATO.
