The Prime-Minister's official visit to Azerbaijan got started. The official welcoming ceremony was held at Heydar Aliyev International Airport. Anthems of two countries were performed, reports GHN based on the Press Service of Prime Minister.
The delegation of Georgia, which is led by the Prime-Minister, also includes: Minister of Foreign Affairs Maia Panjikidze, Deputy-Prime Minister Kakha Kaladze, Minister of Finance Nodar Khaduri, Agriculture Minister Otar Danelia, the Prime-Minister's Advisor Savlan Mirzoyev, members of parliament Zurab Tkemaladze, Makhir Darziev and Ali Mamedov, and also Deputy Chief of the Ministry of Government Administration Nino Kobakhidze and Deputy Vice Minister of Economy Dimitri Kumsishvili.
The delegation was met at the airport by the Vice-Premier Abid Sharifov and Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Azerbaijan in Georgia Azer Husein.
Within the two-day official visit is planned face-to-face meeting with the President of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister, as well as in extended format.
