The President of Russia Vladimer Putin created authoritarian regime in Russia and now has begun to invent elements of Mussolini regime, stated the ex-Premier (2000-2004) of Russia Mikhail Kasianov while talking with Polish TV Company, reports GHN.
"There is no one in Russia is near circle of Putin who will dare to act against him, who will dare and say to Putin that he is not going to surrender to his orders and will not order to attack Ukraine. There is no such kind of generals. Everyone is listening to Putin what he will say. This is real authoritarian regime," stated Kasianov.
As he said Putin invents the elements of Mussolini in Russia with only one official point of view.
"We, democratic position are called as fifth column, betrayers of people. We couldn't consider that after building democracy we would receive such kind of thing" states Kasianov and expresses hope that it is impossible to be continued for a long time and the people will "wake up" and will return to normal ways of development.
The success of Putin in Russia and support then occupation of Crimea in Russian society Kasianov explains with the fact that Russian citizens are ill with "post soviet and post imperial" decease.
As he said the occupation of Crimea and aggression in Eastern Ukraine became possible because the west didn't react timely of the aggression of Russia in Georgia in 2008.
"The west was neutral, lately it returned to the economic collaboration with Kremlin. That's why Putin made conclusion that the west gave him right to do everything. Ukraine and Crimea is result of this position," stated ex-premier.
Besides Karianov names as the main problem of Russia that Putin doesn't understand the main values of the west - freedom, democracy and human right and that Europe will never refuse to these values.
"He believes that everything can be sold in this world and single problem is price. He is ready to pay this sum and at the same time is surprised that can't receive what he wants," states ex-Premier.
Miheil Kasianov marked that sanctions imposed by the west against Russia is already in action and demolishes unity of the circle of Putin.
"Soon Putin and his circle will face the problem of maintaining micro economical stability. He will not be able to perform taken obligations towards citizens, to pay pensions and salaries and this will influence on his ability to rule the country," states Mikhail Kasianov.
