The Committee for Foreign Relations of Senate of USA adopted the draft of the law about Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova that recognizes these countries as key allies that are not members of NATO, reports GHN.
After final adoption of the law the administration of USA will have possibility to impose new sanctions in Russian military and energy companies and to provide with military aid to Ukraine.
The draft of the law should be adopted in House of Representatives. The draft of the law also takes into account providing Ukraine with defense arms, among them - the anti-tank weapons and ammunition group and also radar system to detect enemy positions. Also there is considered providing with unmanned aircraft and communications systems. There is planned to allocate 350 million US dollars from the budget of USA. The document also considers allocation of 10 million US dollars for resistance to Russian propaganda for former Soviet countries during three years.
