The first session of the new Tbilisi Sakrebulo (City Council) will be assembled today. Zaal Samadashvili, Tbilisi Sakrebulo Chairman will head up the session.
Samadashvili will presumably have 2 deputies representing oppositional parties as a result of changes made to the Law about Tbilisi government.
The ruling National Movement Party will have the largest faction in the city assembly. Inga Grigolia, former contender for post of Sakrebulo Charman from parliamentary oppositional Christian-Democratic Movement (CDM) Party will chair the 3-member CDM faction.
