On September 19 the deputy of the Minister of Culture and Monument Protection Levan Kharatishvili, the chief of the National Agency for Cultural Heritage Protection Nikoloz Antidze and governor of Shida Kartli zurab Rusishvili visited the house-museum of Dmitri Kipiani in Kvishkheti. 2014 is jubilee year of Georgian publicist and public figure Dimitri Kipiani. With the initiative of the Prime Minister of Georgia the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection will implement the rehabilitation of house-museum of Dimitri Kipiani. The house in village Kvishkheti where the public figure spent whole his life is in dreadful situation, reports GHN.
The process will be organized by the National Agency of Cultural Heritage Protection of Georgia. On the project there will work professional architects who will draw a plan to save the building.
Dimitri Kipiani was one of the most outstanding figures on Georgia of 19th century. His activity and publications made basis for national liberation movement.
