Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski said that Ukraine is a key to good economic relations with Russia, reports GHN based on Ukrinform.
He stated this during the East Economic Congress in Bialystok (northern Poland) on Friday.
"In my opinion, a key to Russia, and, consequently, to prospects of good business with Russia that we all want also in Poland, is Ukraine," the head of state said.
He believes that a success of Ukraine's pro-Western course would be "a giant source of influence, encouragement and example for Russian society."
"If Ukraine succeeds, I am convinced that the number of young people will increase every year in Russia, especially business people, who will say: if Ukraine succeeded, then we also can, and that we need to work at it," Komorowski stressed.
