The Minister of Foreign Affairs Maia Panjikidze together with governmental delegation of Georgia participates of 69th session of UN general assembly. In the frame of general assembly Maia Panjikidze will hold bilateral meetings with minister colleagues and will attend events that are planned in the frame of the assembly. In the frame of the session there are planned more than 60 bilateral and multilateral meetings, reports GHN.
Maia Panjikidze also will held meetings with the President of 69th session Sam Kute, with United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights prince Zaid Bin Raad who changed on this post Navi Pilai. Maia Panjikidze will also meet Secretary-General of the Permanent Court of Arbitration Hugo Hans Siblez.
In the frame of assembly there will be held arms trade treaty signing ceremony, Georgia will join the agreement this year, the agreement came into force in 2013. In the frame of assembly there is planned ministerial of GUAM countries. There will be held meeting of GUAM-America.
In the frame of UN general assembly Maia Panjikidze will also attend working lunch of representatives of state department of America with the countries of "Eastern Partnership," also will participate if America-Adriatic, America-Baltic meetings. The Minister of Foreign Affairs will attend the reception of European Union and also will held working dinner with political directors of European Union. In the frame of the visit the Minster of Foreign Affairs also will meet representatives of the Jewish community in America. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia will deliver the speech in MoMa Museum on the retrospective of Georgian films.
