The leader of the civil movement Solidarity to Illegal Prisoners, Eka Beselia has commented on the negotiations of some opposition leaders held in Munich, Germany. Eka Beselia answered the questions of journalists at the Prime Time Press Club today.
The leader of the Movement for Fair Georgia, Zurab Noghaideli arrived in Germany, where he holds negotiations with another former official, fugitive minister Irakli Okruashvili, arguably regarding formation of a new opposition union. Reportedly, the director general of the Maestro TV Company, Erosi Kitsmarishvili and another opposition leader, founder of the movement Protect Georgia, Levan Gachechiladze are also attending the negotiations.
Eka Beselia, who was one the ally of Okruashvili when he fled Georgia, says the key issue of discussions held in Germany would be formation of a new opposition coalition, because all previous mergers turned out ineffective in Georgia.
