Political expert Ramaz Sakvarelidze states that the speech of the Prime Minister Irakli Garibashili on 69th session of UN general assembly was positive.
"The Premier wanted to make stress on the issues that was main point for conference. Accordingly the stress was made on health program and the care about people with disabilities and etc. accordingly Premier underlined that these issues are challenge for Georgia. His speech was positive with less rhetoric moments," stated Sakvarelidze.
We remind the Prime Minister delivered a speech on 69th session of UN general assembly on "The implementation of the Programme of Action of the International Conference on Population and Development Issues".
The main stress of the speech was on dignified returning of internally displaced persons and on improving their life conditions.
As Premier said because of several waves of conflicts in Georgia there are more than 450 000 internally displaces persons and their safe, voluntary and dignified conditions can not be fulfilled right now.
"The main aim of the government is to support social-economic integration of refugees and improvement of their life conditions before there will not be possible safe and dignified returning of refugees back," stated the Prime Minister.
