The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine plans soon to increase the number of observers monitoring a truce in Donbas to 350 people, reports GHN based on Ukrinform.
Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Yevhen Perebyinis said this at a briefing on Tuesday.
"It is planned soon to expand the composition of the mission and geographical coverage of its monitoring. The mission is soon to be expanded to 350 observers," he said.
He said that 78 OSCE observers were currently operating in Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
Perebyinis also said that cooperation with the OSCE on ensuring effective monitoring of the ceasefire in eastern Ukraine continued.
