The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Maia Panjikidze took part of America-Adriatic and America-Baltic meeting, reports GHN.
The working supper was held in the frame of UN general assembly. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Albania was the head of the meeting.
On the working meeting the Ministers of Foreign Affairs discussed the issues of Euro-Atlantic security, the situation in Ukraine and developed processes in Baltic and Adriatic regions. They talked about the results of NATO Wales summit and about security situation in the world, among them the situation of Syria and Iraq. The Ministers also estimated the speech of the President of United States of America Barack Obama on UN general assembly also messages of the United States of America concerning international security.
While delivering speech on the meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs Maia Panjikidze underlined the importance of the integration of Georgia in Euro-Atlantic structures. She talked about the decision of NATO Wales summit and also the special package that Georgia was given of the summit; also she talked about the issues of the implementation of the package. Also the Minister informed the colleagues about the process of implementation of Association Agreement and Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area. It must be marked that the Minister of Foreign Affairs took part of America-Baltic, America-Adriatic format meeting in the frame of UN general assembly already second time.
