Council of Ministers of Spain adopted a decision on extradition of crime boss Shakro Kalashov to Georgia, Europa Press Spanish News Agency reports. Justice Minister of Spain Francisco Caamaño presented the Georgian side`s request on extradition to the council of ministers.
The Spanish side has satisfied the Georgian side`s request on the condition that Kalashov will be sentenced again in Georgia. National board of Court of Spain has to approve the decision of Kalashov`s extradition, after what it will be returned to teh council of ministers, which will define dates for handing over Shakro Kalashov to Georgia.
Kalashov is accused of kidnapping people, membership of organized criminal group, drug trafficking and trading with arms in Georgia. He was sentenced to 18 years imprisonement in his absence.
