The Government will compensate for inflicted damage to the population in Adjara and Guria. Relevant funds will be allocated from the budget, after counting the damage - the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili stated to Journalists in New York, reports GHN based on the Press Service of the Prime Minister.
The Head of the Government explained that the Emergency Headquarters, established according to his directive, works in the disaster zone during 24 hours and delivers the information regarding the situation constantly.
"The Ministers are involved in the work of the headquarters and observe the developments on-site. The damage to the Adjara and Guria residents will be counted and we will find the relevant funds in budget to compensate", - the Primer stated.
Irakli Garibashvili also commented on the article, published in Foreign Policy and noted that Georgia had not planned to establish any kind of training-center there.
According to the explanation of the Prime Minister, Georgia's participation in coalition is limited to humanitarian assistance only.
"Georgia's participation in coalition will be symbolic. We have agreed at the Security Council meeting that Georgia's contribution in this coalition will be only humanitarian. No military aid has been planned; none of the militaries will be presented", - Irakli Garibashvili noted.
The Primer assessed the visit to UN General Assembly as well and noted that the conducted meetings were fruitful.
"Georgia is adequately presented to the UN General Assembly. I will deliver a speech to 69th Session of the Assembly and refer to all important issues for us. In the frameworks of the visit I conducted the meetings with the Prime Minister of Kuwait, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, European leaders. I had an opportunity to speak with the President of US as well. We referred to the relations of the two countries during the meeting. Many interesting issues are waiting us in the future", - the Prime Minister stated.
