Russia, after voting for UN Security Council Resolution 2178 on strengthening the responsibility for assistance to terrorist organizations, has pledged to stop supporting its terrorists in Donbas, reports GHN based on Ukrinform.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk said this at UN headquarters in New York.
"We hope that Russia will comply with all provisions of this resolution and Russian terrorists will finally leave Ukrainian territory," he said.
He also said that this legally binding document, which is aimed at combating the financing and support of terrorist organizations, fully concerns Russia.
As reported, on September 24, the UN Security Council unanimously approved a resolution that obliges states to prevent and suppress the participation of their citizens in conflicts abroad.
