Ukraine increased import of gas reverse from the European Union in January-September 2014 by 600 million cu m or by 30% against the same period of 2013 to 2 billion cu m, reports GHN based on Ukrinform.
"Since the beginning of the current month, 798 million cu m of natural gas was imported from Europe to Ukraine, and since the beginning of the current year 2 billion cu m of gas came from Europe, which is 30% or 600 million cu m up against the same period of the previous year," a statement reads.
According to live data of Ukrtransgas, as of September 24, daily gas receipt by the Slovakian corridor made up 26.9 million cu m, and from the side of Poland and Hungary, 4.4 million and 4.6 million cu m were imported respectively.
To remind, September 25, Hungarian company FGSZ said about the suspension of gas supply to Ukraine due to technical reasons "until the next message."
