State Minister of Georgia on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Alex Petriashvili together with the representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Georgia visited the JSC Tbilvino. Visitors toured the factory and met personnel. During the meeting, the significance of the Association Agreement between Georgia and the EU was discussed. Also, parties also spoke about the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA) Agreement and the concrete economic benefits foreseen by its implementation, reports GHN based on the Ministry of European and Euro-Atmentivc Integration.
"The Government of Georgia has elaborated EU Integration Communication and Information Strategy, which aims to raise the awareness across the country regarding the commitments taken under the Association Agreement; therefore, our producers, including wine makers, should be familiar with this Agreement and know about the benefits and obligations." - stated Alex Petriashvili to journalists.
The welcoming tour to the JSC Tbilvino and wine degustation in the framework of the implementation of the EU-Georgia Association Agreement and the EU Integration Communication and Information Strategy was initiated by the Office of the State Minister on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and organised by the Information Centre on NATO and EU.
