European Union states that it is not going to make changes in the Association Agreement with Ukraine, European Commission spokeswoman Pia Hansen made the announcement today.
"From the position of European Union we don't see necessity to make changes in the agreement. Ukraine is free, sovereign country to make choice in foreign relations," Hansen stated.
As she said the Association Agreement is two-sided document and only the sides that are involved in these international relations have to decide whether make changes or not.
We remind that the President of Russia Vladimer Putin wrote the letter to the President of Euro Commission Jose Manuel Barroso and asked to use the delay of the time of trade part of the agreement to make important changes in the document.
