"Turkey will be one of the first countries we will sign bilateral investment treaty" - Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Vice Prime Minister said after the meeting between Georgian Prime Minister and President of Turkey in the USA, reports GHN based on the Ministry of Economics and Sustainable Development.
We will make further progress to sign the bilateral investment treaty with Turkey till the end of this year. All the preliminary works are already done in this direction. It is worth mentioning that we have started working on over 30 treaties of this kind recently and Turkey will be one of the first countries we will be singing treaty. It will promote the increase of mutual investments" - Giorgi Kvirikashvili said.
The Vice Prime Minister discussed other planned meetings with the media in the USA. According to him, the conference organized by the American-Georgian business-session is planned. It will be devoted to the foreign investment implementation related issues. "Within the framework of the conference we will have bilateral meetings with American investors. Besides, I will take part in the investment symposium - Invest in Georgia that organized by International Economic Alliance (IEA)"- Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia said.
Giorgi Kvirikashvili is paying an official visit to the USA together with the Georgian Government delegation headed by Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia.
