On the 29th of September 2014, the Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister, Ms Tamar Beruchashvili met the Head of the Eastern Partnership, Regional Cooperation and OSCE Division at the European External Action Service, Mr Richard Tibbels, reports GHN based on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
At the meeting the two underlined the need to develop Eastern Partnership in future as well; and discussed challenges existing in the region. Ms Beruchashvili and Mr Tibbels focused on the current priorities of co-operation between Georgia and the European Union; on the progress achieved in terms of implementation of the Eastern Partnership initiative; and on the plans outlined for the Riga Summit due to be held in 2015.
