MP from the Akhmeta district is expected to arrive in the Pankisi Valley later today to view the damage inflicted to the area by the last few days` disaster. Heavy rains have damaged the region leaving over one hundred families homeless. The rescuers and the fire brigades are working to pump waters out of the ground floors of the houses. The road department brigades have already launched road-cleaning works. Three bridges will be constructed at three damaged sections of the road to the region.
