The Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili states that the main text of the resolution is only positive and the part of the resolution that talks about former officials Akhalaia and Saakashvili is not alarming, reports GHN.
"There is no reason to create buzz about this. You saw that the main text of the resolution is positive. If the "National Movement" considers that that part of the resolution that is talking about Akhalaia and Saakashvili is alarming I don't think so. This is one more attempt of "National Movement" to fight against own state and own population. This is continuation of their politics. There is nothing new here," stated Irakli Garibashvili.
We remind that the European Council adopted resolution about Georgia with 103 votes and 27 votes against. The part of the resolution is talking about cases against former officials and seizure of the property of Mikheil Saakashvili and his family members.
