The Minister of Foreign Affairs responds to the possible creation of training bases for Syrian rebels and considers the statement of the Prime Minister about the issue as convincing, reports GHN.
"Moscow paid attention to the information about creation of training bases in Georgia for preparing Syrian opposition rebels. Needless to say that if Tbilisi makes such kind of decision is would harm to the stability and security to the South Caucasus near Russian border and it would be inevitable negative results that it can cause to the relations between Georgia and Russia that develops successfully right now. That's why the statements made in Tbilisi, among them the official refusal made by I. Garibashvili perceived by us seriously. We will carefully watch for this topic," reads the comment of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
