The official number of internally displaced persons from the area of the antiterrorist operation in the east of Ukraine is 350,000, reports GHN based on Ukrinform.
Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk said at a meeting with representatives of the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations in Kyiv, Friday.
"We have already 350,000 internally displaced persons. This is only the official number of temporary displaced persons from the ATO area," the Premier said.
Yatseniuk reminded that the government has already taken a number of decisions on personal payments to internally displaced persons.
