"The Statement of Irakli Garibashvili is not first - we are getting used to such kind of statements and no one believes to in Abkhazia," states the deputy of so called Minister of Foreign Affairs of occupied Abkhazia Irakli Khintba while commenting on the statement of the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili on UN general assembly.
"The statement of the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili is not first. From the period of Eduard Shevardnadze we are get used to such kind of statements from Georgian side. While the government of Saakashvili Tbilisi stated about reconciliation with Abkhazians many times. Instead of real steps we meet only provocations from Georgian side, the steps directed towards discrimination of rights of our citizens that was made for isolation of Abkhazia,- states Khintba while talking with Russian media and states that Georgia still has not recognized that it is guilty in Georgian -Abkhazian conflict and still refuses to sign the agreement about non-aggression.
"That's why we have to talk about strengthening Georgian-Abkhazian border to take care of security of Abkhazia. On the background that Georgia moves in the direction of NATO and on the background of strengthening strategic partnership with USA of course we talk about strengthening military collaboration with Russia, and everyone agrees with in Abkhazia right now," states Khintba.
As he said Garibashvili makes statements not for Ankhazian society.
"They want to show to everyone like Abkhazia is stubborn and doesn't want to compromise, but this is not reality," states Khintba and marks that these statements are made for Georgian audience where there are "still groups of the society" who consider that returning of Abkhazia as part of Georgia is not the main aim that should be reached."
"This is only rhetoric and no one believes in Abkhazia," states Irakli Khintba.
