Poland and NATO cannot ignore the Ukrainian-Russian conflict and must act quickly to ensure security in the region, reports GHN based on Ukrinform.
Polish Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz said at a joint press conference with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
"For my government, security issues are of paramount importance. Therefore, a conflict behind our eastern border leads to the fact that Poland, as well as NATO, should not have a casual attitude to the seriousness of the situation (in Ukraine - Ed.)," Kopacz said.
She stressed that to ensure security in the region, implementation of decisions of the NATO Summit in Great Britain is necessary.
Kopacz noted that Poland has an ambitious military modernization program and is ready to lead by example of implementing decisions, regarding the NATO Summit.
