The Minister of Defense Irakli Alasania responds to the statement of Jens Stoltenberg concerning allocation of troops of Alliance and calls it as absolutely logical, reports GHN.
"First of all I welcome the statement of new Secretary General of NATO Jens Stoltenberg. It would be surprising if he would say something different. We, NATO partners and NATO members agreed on Wales summit that we have confront to the threat that exists in the region concerning Russian aggression not only with financial sanctions but also with military deterrent measures; military deterrent measures means that NATO members have to strengthen defense of own sovereign territories with more big military units like there are already made concrete steps in Baltic countries and other Eastern European countries and also NATO have to help partner countries to improve own defense possibilities. As for NATO bilateral or multilateral bases and joint trainings here have to decide NATO and the country where trainings take place, it will be Georgia or any other country. That's why this statement is absolutely welcoming and logical," stated Alasania.
As NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated Alliance will allocate own troops everywhere where it wants to. Jens Stoltenberg stated about this while his visit in Poland while talking with local TV channel.
