On the 6th of October 2014, the Georgian Foreign Minister, Ms Maia Panjikidze met the Lithuanian Minister of National Defence, Mr Juozas Olekas, reports GHN based on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The two underlined the reforms implemented in the country and the progress Georgia has achieved in the process of integration with the European and Euro-Atlantic structures; and focused on the significance of the NATO Wales Summit resolutions and on the future prospects of implementation of these resolutions.
The two also discussed the current international issues, including recent developments in Ukraine and regional security.
Mr Olekas reaffirmed his Government's support for Georgia's European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
