On the 6th of October 2014, the Georgian Foreign Minister, Ms Maia Panjikidze held a meeting with the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Mr Galust Sahakyan who is on his official visit in Georgia, reports GHN based on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting the Foreign Minister and the National Assembly Chairman emphasized the importance of further deepening of good-neighbourly relations between the two countries and noted with satisfaction the active dynamics generated by the exchange of visits at the level of line ministries as well as of legislative bodies.
Discussions focused on the issues on the bilateral agenda of talks. The sides expressed the readiness to promote the development of co-operation between Georgia and the Republic of Armenia aimed at the further strengthening of trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian relations.
