On the 7th of October 2014, the Georgian Foreign Minister, Ms Maia Panjikidze met the Kazakh First Deputy Foreign Minister, Mr Rapil Zhoshybayev, who is also the Commissioner of the International Specialized Exhibition EXPO-2017, reports GHN based on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The two mainly discussed the issues of organizing the International Specialized Exhibition EXPO-2017 in Astana in June-September 2014.
Ms Panjikidze and Mr Zhoshybayev focused on the current issues of bilateral co-operation between Georgia and the Republic of Kazakhstan; underlined the need to enhance partner relations between their two countries; and discussed the prospects of development of economic co-operation.
