The Mayor of Tbilisi Davit Narmania met the ambassador of Iran in Georgia Abas Thalebi Fari, reports GHN.
On the meeting the sides talked about cultural and economic relations of two countries. With the statement of the ambassador of Iran Iranian side is interested in deepening of relations between two countries. They talked about future perspectives of collaboration between City Halls of Tehran and Tbilisi and Islamic Council of Tehran.
As the ambassador of Iran stated Iranian side is interested to invest in Georgia. As he said Iranian businessmen show interest in rehabilitation of amortized buildings in Tbilisi. Abas Thalebi Fari informed Davit Narmania about construction of Iranian culture center in Tbilisi where will be employed Georgian Iranists; the mayor of Tbilisi supported the idea.

The Mayor of Tbilisi expressed readiness of collaboration with Iranian side and stated that he is ready to visit Tehran and it is possible to implement visit together with the speaker of Parliament of Georgia.
