The Ministry of Foreign Affairs responds to the issue of creation of training military bases for Syrian rebels and considers that the statement of the Prime Minister is convincing about this subject.
Moscow paid attention to the information in media about creation of American training base in Georgia for training Syrian oppositional rebels. "Needless to say that the decision of Tbilisi would cause serious damage to the stability and security in south Caucasus near the border of Russia and negative results in successfully developing Russian Georgian relations would be unavoidable. That's why the statements made in Tbilisi, among them official refusal of I.Garibashvili is perceived by us seriously. We will follow the theme with big attention," reads the statement of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
