October 14-19 there will be held international documentary film festival CineDOC-Tbilisi, reports GHN.
Festival CineDOC-Tbilisi will be opened with the documentary film of director Barack Heimen from Israel Do you believe in love
In the frame of the film festival there will be represented films of different genre that express current themes of Georgian reality.
This year the festival will host nearly 50 films from countries: Israel, Georgia, Turkey, Armenia, Russia, Poland, Hungary, Portugal, Netherlands, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Canada, Belgium, Germany, Brazil, Denmark. The spectator will see three films of Georgian directors. There will be represented documentary film of Zurab Inashvili Another City, also work of Shalva Shengeli The Ruler and documentary film of Ana Tsimintia "Library". The festival consists with 3 sections: international competition program, Focus Caucasus, CineDOC-Young. International competition program is the main section of CineDOC-Tbilisi and 9 films will be estimated by spectator and international jury. The winner film will be chosen by film experts, film critics and directors of the jury.
The members of jury of 2014 international competition program are: director of the National film Center Nana Janelidze, director of one of the most important documentary film festival of Europe "Vision de Reel" Luchiano Barisone from Switzerland, Simone Bauman from Germany.
After the film there will be held discussion by the children psychologists, educators, activists of civil society and also pupils from high classes. Also children will meet authors of the films, will talk to them, finally the spectators and children will unveil winner film by voting and will handle the prize to the director. CineDOC-Tbilisi will be hosted by the cinema theatres "Amiran" and "Rustaveli". In the main hall of "Amirani" there will be held opening ceremony of the festival on October 14 and the award ceremony on October 18.

Besides the partners of CineDOC-Tbilisi are: Movies that Matter, Goethe Institute, the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection, the children and youth fund of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, Youth Development Fund, the Center of Cultural Events of the City Hall, National Center of Cinematography of Georgia, Studio of Documentary Films.
