Ukrainian security forces on Wednesday evening repelled another terrorist attack on the Donetsk airport, Information Resistance group leader Dmytro Tymchuk has reported on Facebook.
"An attempt to assault the airport in Donetsk was repulsed last evening," Tymchuk said.
In addition, he said, in the past 24 hours the airport and a stronghold near Orlovo-Ivanivka, Shakhtarsk district, Donetsk region, were shelled five times by militants with mortars and small arms.
Tymchuk said that ammunition coming from Russia was being actively transferred to the Donetsk airport area. About 50-60% of all mines and artillery shells that come from Russia are being sent to the airport area.
