The former Minister of Culture and Monument Protection Nika Rurua responds to the construction of Avaret-Kakheti motorway and states that society have to show its power because the Tskhinvalization of Kakheti will be unavoidable in this case, reports GHN.
"Russia begun to built military road from Dagestan to the direction of Kakheti. Concretely opening of new tunnel will take place in Kvareli. It is absolutely prohibited, and society has to say something about, because in this case Tskhinvalization of Kakheti will be unavoidable. It's a real prerequisite for shredding of our country. It is natural that this military road will be hanged like "The sword of Damocles" for Georgia for Russia to reach our country as soon as it will want it. This road is constructed for tanks and to become the region depended on Russia. This will be Tskhinvalization of Kakheti. It will be national betrayal," stated Rurua while visiting in press club of "Prime Time."
We remind that for the construction of Avaret-Kakheti motorway there are already begun preparing works, to create infrastructure. The length of the road will be 80 km, there will be built five tunnels and 25 bridges. Highway will connect the Caspian and Black Seas basin.
