Minister of Agriculture Bakur Kvezereli has confirmed the dismissal of Maia Metreveli, Head of Food Products Safety Service. The decision was caused by the structural modification of the service.
The Minister said before the beginning of the government session today that the Food Products Safety Service was to be transformed into a public law organization.
‘The Service faces new challenges and changes were needed', the Minister said.
When questioned if the reports about the possible reshuffle in the government were groundful, Kvezereli said he had no information in this regard.
