October 15, 2014 in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs there will be held the cycle of exhibitions "50 Women from Georgia." The cycle will represent exposition created by the Heinrich Boell Foundation in different countries of the world by Georgia's diplomatic missions. Exposition "50 Women from Georgia" is dedicated to the Georgian and European public figure women of IX and XX centuries with contribution in the development of Georgian culture and social life. The exhibition unites 50 photos and archive biographical materials about life and activity of 50 famous women, reports GHN.
With the initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and diplomatic missions of Georgia the photo-exhibitions of Georgian woman will be represented in different countries of the world in 2014-2015.
It must be marked that in Slovakia with the organization of embassy of Georgia and city municipality the exhibition "50 Women from Georgia" was already held in Bratislava (September, 2014). On November 6 the exhibition will be opened in Stockholm where the presentation about women's activity and role of women in the history will be held by the ambassador of Georgia in Sweden. The event will be attended by the representatives of organizations for women's rights and the Swedish Riksdag female MPs.
In the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia the presentation of exhibitions will be attended by Deputy Foreign Affairs Tamar Beruchashvili and director of south Caucasus regional bureau of Heinrich Boell Nino Lejhava.
The event will be held on October 15 at 13:00 in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
