Today, at the Administration of the Government, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili chaired the 50th Session of the Governmental Commission on Georgia's the EU Integration. The heads of all relevant government agencies involved in the EU integration process attended the session, reports GHN based on the Ministry of European and Euro Atlantic Integration.
At the session, it was noted that the 1st meeting of the EU-Georgia Association Council will be held in Brussels on 17 November. The Georgian delegation, headed by Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, will hold high-level meetings with EU officials.
The members of the Commission discussed the implementation of the National Action Plan for 2014 of the EU-Georgia Association Agenda. In this regard, the Prime Minister gave instructions in order to enhance the communication and coordination between the government agencies.
The Visa Liberalisation Action Plan (VLAP) was also discussed at the Session. It was highlighted that Georgia will finalise the 1st phase before 30 November and will move to the 2nd phase.
