Labour Party objects to the staff cut at public schools and demands meeting with the minister of education of Georgia.
Political secretary of the party, Giorgi Gugava briefed in this regard today and said that the institute of mandaturs (school guards) at schools with such high salaries (850GEL) was formed on the expense of the dismissed teachers.
The Labour Party members say the dismissal of teachers from public schools equalled to closing schools.
The opposition party plans to hold rallies on the problems of the teachers in the future too.
