Georgian military servicemen participating in ISAF international mission were awarded with the relevant certificates for carrying out successful mission at Kandahar Air Base. Commander of ISAF Joint Command, Lieutenant General Joseph Anderson gave the Georgian military special coins for their contribution in the base protection tasks. The awarding ceremony was held at Kandahar Air Base, reports GHN.
Liaison officer of Special Mountain Battalion of the GAF also received reward for his perfect military activities. Commander of future operations planning group of the Regional Command - South, Colonel Andrew Haebich rewarded Major Imeda Gvinjilia with the certificate.
Recently cthe Georgian military servicemen carried out some successful operations on the Kandahar Air Base and eliminated activities from the rival side. Special Mountain Battalion of the GAF is completing ISAF mission very soon and return to homeland in few weeks
