With the aim of preservation of cultural heritage, its popularization and effective use of existed historical documentation there was formed memorandum between National Agency for Cultural Heritage and Preservation of Georgia and National Archive of the Ministry of Justice. The memorandum was signed by the general director of the National Agency for Cultural Heritage and Preservation of Georgia Nika Antidze and the director of National Archive of Georgia Teona Iashvili. National Agency for Cultural Heritage and Preservation of Georgia will hand to the National Archive copies of existed projects, drawings and paintings that are kept in the documentary funds of the agency, reports GHN.
On the other side National Archive will give to the National Agency those written and visual materials that are in need to implement concrete projects that will show the tendencies of development of the sphere of cultural heritage in the country.
In this direction at the end of November this year there will be implemented the first joint project of National Agency for Cultural Heritage and Preservation of Georgia and National archive and in the frame of European week; there will be prepared cognitive exhibition and conference - "Modernist Architecture of Georgia. The Processes of Urban Development of the Country in 1950-80s."
