October 22 at 16:00 in the National Gallery after Dimitry Shevardnadze will be held photo exhibition of Christian Rose, reports GHN.
On the exhibition there will be represented portraits of jazz performers of Christian Rose. Spectator will have possibility to see interesting musical world of famous French photographer made in different years.
Christian Rose already 50 years acts in the world of jazz and photography. He began to work on jazz journal when he was 19 years old. He became popular in France and in whole world as well. He collaborated with famous editions, such as: Le Monde, Liberation, L'Express, Le Nouvel Observateur, also with musical press: Guitare Mag, Keybords Mag, Batteur Mag, MUZIQ and others. Besides Christian Rose is author of the books: Instants de Jazz, Jazz Meetings, Zappa in France, Black & Sou and Guitare 160 Portraits de Légende.
The supporter of the exhibition is the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection.
The exhibition of Christian Rose is joint curatorial work of art historians Nino Metreveli (Tbilisi) and Shalva Khakhanashvili (Paris).
The exhibition will be held in the frame of Tbilisi Jazz Festival and will last till October 30.
