The mayor of Tbilisi Davit Narmania met representatives of main office of European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Lin O Grad and Katarina Borlin Hansen, also head of the representation of EBRD Georgia, reports GHN.
On the meeting there was marked that there will begin works in the direction of movement of auto transport and traffic jams, solid waste and street light to make identification of needs of the capital. There will be formed memorandum concerning these issues with EBRD and after this the bank will represent its consultant.
As Davit Narmania said there will be carried out survey concerning auto transport stream and management of traffic jams and will be made identification of every problem. Besides on the basis of this research there will be made conclusion how the public transport system is optimally distributed. As he said there will be made also research of the situation of subway and municipal busses and after this the bank will make proper recommendations and will allocate funding.
As for the solid waste sphere as Davit Narmania said there will be estimated the situation on the dump and after this there will be prepared proposals for the interested investor companies. Besides old street light system will be changed on new modern lightning.
