On October 14-15, the first Deputy State Minister on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, David Dondua participated in the international conference "NATO 2020: Alliance Renewed" organized by the Center for European and North Atlantic Affairs (CENAA) of Slovakia, Johns Hopkins University and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic which was held in Bratislava, reports GHN based on the Ministry of European and Euro Atlantic Integration.
David Dondua delivered a speech at the session "Partnership and Enlargement". The First Deputy State Minister discussed the details of the NATO-Georgia cooperation, as well as the outcomes of the NATO Wales Summit and the future plans. David Dondua reviewed the ongoing processes in the region in terms of security and drew the attention of the audience to the emerging threat of de-facto annexation of Abkhazia by the Russian Federation. Within the frames of the visit, David Dondua held meetings at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovak Republic.
