UN Week 2014 in Georgia
TBILISI. 17 October 2014 - The United Nations Week 2014 rolled out in Georgia with the celebration of the International Day of Rural Women on October 15, opening of a new touristic infrastructure in Tsaghveri, and the World Food Day event celebrated on October 16, reports GHN.
The UN Week this year runs under the theme: Georgia and UN: The Future We Want.
All UN agencies will take part in the Week's activities by presenting their work in different regions of the country. Public actions, exhibitions, youth events, and conferences will take place across Georgia from October 17 to October 24, 2014.

UN open day event "The Future We Want" inviting everyone to send a message to the United Nations. A message box and open tribune will be open for everyone. The event will also see a celebration for youth and concert.
