Russian army losses in Donbas fighting have reached 4,360 servicemen.
Such statistics on 11 military units were released by Russian human rights activist and founder of the Web project "Cargo 200 from Ukraine to Russia," Elena Vasilyeva.
"The figures are approximate, because there is no accounting of troops in that 'hotchpotch' called Russian troops. There is also no centralized management, as well as no military education and experience in [Russian Defense Minister Sergei] Shoigu," she said.
"You can almost say that most Russian troops in Ukraine are not alive. Here President [Vladimir] Putin is almost right: honor and praise for him from Russian servicemen, and especially from mothers," Vasilyeva said.
At the same time, the Russian Defense Ministry, she said, recognized "only" 900 deaths.
