Today, at the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia, State Minister on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Alex Petriashvili met the members of the Public Advisory Council on Georgia's EU Integration, reports GHN based on the Ministry of European and Euro Atlantic Integration.
At the meeting, the current issues related to Georgia's EU integration, namely: implementation of the EU-Georgia Association Agreement, cooperation in the framework of the Eastern Partnership, visa liberalisation perspectives, cooperation within the framework of Mobility Partnership, implementation of the EU Integration Communication and Information Strategy of the Government of Georgia for the period of 2014-2017 and the security issues were discussed.
Information: The Public Advisory Council on Georgia's EU Integration was created in 2005. Representatives of non-governmental organisations, academia and media, as well as independent experts participate in the work of the Advisory Council. With the aim to have an active dialogue with the society the meetings are regularly held to discuss the priority and other current issues of Georgia's EU integration.
